I grew up in the Willamette Valley of Oregon and have lived here all my life. I love Oregon and I can’t imagine moving anywhere else. Every spring, my husband and I like to go hike to the top of Multnomah Falls.
Growing up, my childhood consisted of playing outside, riding bikes, swimming in the river, and making cardboard dollhouses. There was always tape, glitter, and scraps of paper all over my room. Even now, I still love design and am very fortunate to have found a career in residential design and remodeling.
When I’m not at work, I spend my time painting, watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix, and geeking out over Food Network shows (my favorite guilty pleasure shows are Cutthroat Kitchen and Mystery Diners!) With how mellow my life is I really enjoy the absurdity of the drama on those shows.
My style of art is very flowy and organic. Nature inspires much of my artwork and my style. The intent of my artwork is to be calming and bring a sense of peace to the viewer.
